Gender Studies Prize

In 2003 the North American Studies Program and the Equal Opportunity Officer of the University of Bonn initiated the Gender Studies Prize.

Financed by the Equal Opportunity Officer this prize comprises a grant of € 500,00. It is awarded every year to the student who has written the most outstanding transdisciplinary thesis (BA, MA, Magister, Diploma, Staatsexamen) on an issue pertaining to the large field of gender studies. The prize thus also means to encourage students to engage questions and methods of gender studies.

Candidates are asked to submit their thesis together with an expertise from their professor („Erstgutachten“) to PD Dr. Eva-Sabine Zehelein, Forum Women and Gender Studies, Franziskanerstraße 4, 53113 Bonn. For further information please see the Forum's website.
